    The Tooth Fairy

Johnson is Derek "The Tooth Fairy" Thompson, a hard-charging minor league hockey player whose nickname comes from his habit of separating opposing players from their bicuspids. When Derek discourages a youngster's hopes, he's sentenced to one week's hard labour as a real tooth fairy, complete with the requisite tutu, wings and magic wand. At first, Derek "can't handle the tooth" - bumbling and stumbling as he tries to furtively wing his way through strangers' homes…doing what tooth fairies do. But as Derek slowly adapts to his new position, he begins to rediscover his own forgotten dreams.

    The Crazies

A husband and wife in a small Midwestern town find themselves battling for survival as their friends and family descend into madness in The Crazies. A mysterious toxin in the water supply turns everyone exposed to it into mindless killers and the authorities leave the uninfected to their certain doom in this terrifying reinvention of the George Romero horror classic.

The American Dream goes horribly wrong when the residents of this picture-perfect town begin to succumb to an uncontrollable urge for violence and the horrific bloodshed escalates into anarchy. In an attempt to contain the epidemic, the military uses deadly force to close off access into or out of town, abandoning the few healthy citizens to the growing mayhem as depraved killers lurk in the shadows.

Sheriff David Dutton, his pregnant wife Judy, Becca an assistant at the medical centre and Russell , Dutton's deputy and right-hand man, find themselves trapped in a once idyllic town they can no longer recognize. Unable to trust former neighbours and friends, deserted by the authorities and terrified of contracting the illness themselves, they are forced to band together in a nightmarish struggle for survival.

A Nightmare On Elm Street 2010

It seems like new trailer for the remake of the 1984 Nightmare on Elm Street, has gone insane on MySpace, at least according to Mashable.com

As for the trailer itself. Looks great, dare I say, horror buff and all.

This does not ooze cheesy remake. Instead, it appears to stay truthful to the original dark, serious, downright scary. Glad to see it's not another of the MTV-style, catch phrase, throwaway sequels of the late 80s.
The trailer itself is very good, a lot of detail and also the idea of exploring the Freddy Krueger back-story that is only alluded to in the original is creative. That is, the alleged child molester is hunted and ultimately burned in a boiler room by vigilante parents from the neighbourhood featuring the famous, and not exactly unique, Elm St.

And we all know Freddy is kind of like the roach that wont die and he always gets the last laugh as he stalks teens in their dreams in his trademark red and green striped shirt and bladed power glove.
